PASSENGER VESSELS SITUATION CALL TO SAIGON PORT IN THE FIRST THREE MONTHS OF 2012
From the early of 2012 until now, Passenger Cruise Terminal had received 20 domestic vessels, 26 foreign vessels with over 17,000 passengers passing the port. The volume of passenger vessel calling to Saigon port has decreased of 16% in compared with the same period, however the service quality provided by the staffs and employees of Passenger Cruise Terminal for domestic and foreign visitor is to be enhanced from day by day. Cai Mep - Thi Vai : 50,000 GT vessels payable load charge of USD0.0192 / GT / turn
Cargo ships, those above 50,000 GT, operating in international maritime dock in the Cai Mep - Thi Vai port (Ba Ria - Vung Tau) shall bear a load charge of USD0.0192 / GT / turn and a maritime assurance fee at USD0.06 / GT / turn. This is one of the content specified in the Circular No. 41/2012/TT-BTC that has recently been issued by the Ministry of Finance, guiding the collection a number of charges for maritime ships of large tonnage docking in Cai Mep - Thi Vai port.
