Solve problems of Cai Mep - Thi Vai inter- port road project
     On 9-2, Deputy Chairman of BR-VT Peoples Committee Tran Ngoc Thoi had a meeting with the Department of Transport to resolve problems in carrying out the Cai Mep - Thi Vai inter-port road project.
      

According to Department of Transport, the implementation of this project is facing troubles because of problems in site compensation and ground clearance at the project components No. 1, 6 and 7 which is the segment through Phu My town, My Xuan commune, Phuoc Hoa commune. In addition, the project is also in troubles with infrastructure and design changes for navigational clearance of Vam Gui bridge, location where empty out mud when dredging for road construction.
At the meeting, Mr.Tran Ngoc Thoi directed the Transport Department, the Project Manager to coordinate with Tan Thanh District People"s Committee, the Department of Natural Resources - Environment to early complete site clearance so that construction units can accelerate construction progress in the dry season this year. Assign investors to directly work with Ba Son Shipyard regarding location for discharging sludge that the province has planned to protect the environment. Particularly, Vam Gui bridge is requested to remain the approved design and start construction not later than 30 April.
